Now available: The Business of…Advertising to the 50+

Each week on The Business of Aging I get to speak with some of the smartest analysts, entrepreneurs and businesspeople focusing on aging consumers and their needs, from caregiving and product design to housing trends and social entrepreneurship and legacy. Through these expert interviews we’ll mine the current research, best resources and practices created to fill the needs of the mature market, and I strive to translate the trends and data into actionable strategies for listeners.

My first guest on The Business of Aging radio program is Patricia Lippe Davis, Vice President, Marketing, for AARP Media Sales. The first show The Business of …Advertising to the 50+ delves into the current state of advertising targeting this age group. Together with our special guest we dispel the myths of marketing to mature consumers, and discuss the issues with getting the mature consumer on the radar with ad agencies and brands.
