His partner in BOA is Lori Bitter, the nation’s leading expert on marketing to mature consumers and former CEO of JWT Boom. Lori is the author of the forthcoming book, “The Grandparent Economy,” due out later in 2015.

Richard is also the Founder and CEO of Launch Crew LLC, an innovation and business development consultancy that operates on an entertainment production company model,assembling customized teams of gifted creative, strategic and marketing services talent to meet a client’s specific needs. As an innovation consultancy, Launch Crew delivers contract chief marketing services for a variety of start-up and emerging companies such as Memory Matters, RE@L, GetConnectivity, SmartBase Solutions and Sanoson Americas. Launch Crew also completes marketing innovation projects for large organizations like AARP, General Mills, UnitedHealth Group, Del Monte, Target, New Mountain Learning and Target. Prior to founding Launch Crew, Richard served as a marketing/branding executive at Young & Rubicam/Landor Associates in New York. He started his career with Dayton Hudson Corporation, the former parent company of Target.

Richard has completed executive education certificate programs in innovation and entrepreneurship at Stanford, and digital marketing/advanced social media at University of St. Thomas. As an undergraduate, he majored in Social Psychology and Journalism at University of Minnesota.
